Are rental brokers ready to do the leg work?

Article published yesterday in the New York Times.  I wonder if the MTA will really be able to find all these people an acceptable apartment to live in.  The answer seems to be NO, since you will read that several of the tenants have used a broker to help smooth out the transition.

Next year, dozens of New Yorkers in some of the city’s wealthiest ZIP codes are set to be evicted to make way for the long-delayed Second Avenue subway, and federal law requires the transit agency to find them comparable new homes. So far, it has not been going so well.
